Baby Jay quotes, poems, and scriptures

I compiled quotes, poems, and scriptures that I read many, many times and still do that have helped me in the healing process.  I know it may sound horrible, but it helps me to know that there are other people out there like me.  On the other hand, it absolutely sucks that there are other people out there like me.  All of the following came from searches that I did online, I just wanted them all in one place to refer back to.

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ Isaiah 41:10

‘”For I know the plans I have for you’ says the Lord, ‘They are plans for good, and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” -Jeremiah 29:11

“So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.” -John 16:22

The best and most beautiful things on this earth cannot be seen or even touched — they must be felt with the heart. –Helen Keller

Now I lay you down to sleep, I pray the Lord your soul to keep;

Within his arms he’ll hold you tight,

My Heavenly Angel, My Guiding Light.

A moment in our arms…a lifetime in our hearts.

To the Child of My Heart

O precious, tiny sweet little one,

you will always be to me

so perfect, pure and innocent

just as you were meant to be.

We dreamed of you and of your

life and all that it would be we

waited and longed for you

to come and join our family.

We never had the chance to play

to laugh, to rock, to wiggle

we long to hold you, touch you

and listen to you giggle.

But now your’re gone …

but yet you’re here.  You are

our sorrow and our joy,

there’s love in ever tear.

Just know our love goes deep

and strong.  We’ll forget you never.

The child we had, but never had,

and yet will have forever.

Daddy, please don’t look so sad, Mama, please don’t cry-

cause I am in the arms of Jesus and He sings me lullabies.

Please, try not to question God, don’t think he is unkind.

Don’t think he sent me to you, and then He changed his mind.

You see, I am a special child and I am needed up above.

I’m the special gift you gave Him, the product of your love.

I’ll always be there with you. Watch the sky at night…

find the brightest star that is gleaming, that is my halo’s brilliant light.

You’ll see me in the morning frost that mists your window pane.

That’s me in the summer showers. I’ll be dancing in the rain.

When you feel a little breeze, from the gentle wind that blows, that’s me

planting a kiss on your nose.

When you see a child playing and your heart feels a little tug, that’s me,

I’ll be there, giving your heart a hug.

So Daddy, please don’t look so sad, Mama don’t you cry.

I am in the arms of Jesus and He sings me lullabies.

“These are my footprints,

so perfect and so small.

These tiny footprints

never touched the ground at all.

Not one tiny footprint,

for now I have wings.

These tiny footprints were meant

for other things.

You will hear my tiny footprints,

in the patter of the rain.

Gentle drops like angel’s tears,

of joy and not from pain.

You will see my tiny footprints,

in each butterflies’ lazy dance.

I’ll let you know I’m with you,

if you just give me the chance.

You will see my tiny footprints,

in the rustle of the leaves.

I will whisper names into the wind,

and call each one that grieves.

Most of all, these tiny footprints,

are found on Mommy and Daddy’s hearts.

‘Cause even though I’m gone now,

We’ll never truly part.”

His life is not one lost, but gained in Heaven.  Perfectly held in His arms. Your arms would hold him, your loving guidance would grow him- you as his mother would know him and love him like no one could. He would go back to His arms in the end.  He is perfectly complete in his arms right now, and loving you from Heaven. There will be no life lost or time that goes by that will ever separate you from his love. Know the Lord has already planned this to be your best life- to His highest glory, and there could be no better place for where he is, and where God has you now.  He will see you through this.  –Unknown
